Well, here we are… Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Have you sent a card to your Spanish-speaking sweetheart yet? If not, you’re going to love this.
First things first — grab a nice card and write your message in English if that’s your native language. After all, if you can’t express yourself perfectly in Spanish yet, we can’t work miracles in two minutes! But here’s the trick: at the end of your message, you can sign off with one of these beautiful Spanish phrases. You’ll be surprised at how much of an impact these little touches make. Your partner will feel that you’re trying to connect at a deeper, more personal level — and there’s nothing more touching than hearing love expressed in one’s own language.
So let’s get to it…
Cheat Sheet
Feliz Día de San Valentín / Feliz Día de los Enamorados… – Happy Valentine’s Day Te amo con todo mi corazón… – I love you with all my heart Tuya para siempre… (For a guy, it would be tuyo) – Always yours Con amor… – With love Muchos besos… – Lots of kisses ¡Te quiero mucho!… – I love you very much (Using querer to express love is a bit less intense than amar.) Gracias por hacerme tan feliz… – Thank you for making me so happy
And there you have it — seven super sweet Spanish phrases to impress the love of your life!
Don’t forget to practice them out loud — pronunciation is key when it comes to romance! And stay tuned for next week’s lesson, where I’ll show you some charming ways to tell your partner how much you enjoyed your time together.
¡Mucha suerte y mucho amor! ❤️
